Fly Fishing Paradise

Moira Lakes is an anglers paradise and fast becoming Northern Ireland’s number one spot for fly fishing.  This stunning spring fed lake offers excellent still water fly fishing for rainbow trout.

The main lake covers approximately 4 acres, it is 10' deep with 3 large sink holes.  We have 19 piers, 7 of which are accessible to wheelchair users.   The lakes are well stocked with 2lb – 10lb + rainbow trout.

The bait pond with its shallow margins is specifically designed to maximise safety; therefore, an excellent location to introduce children to the sport of fishing.  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.  The Bait Pond provides the opportunity to spin, bait or cast a fly.

Log Cabin

With stunning views of both lakes the cabin provides a comfortable haven with free WiFi where you can relax and enjoy free tea and coffee which is served all day.

A range of hot foods, snacks and beverages are available.

Within the log cabin, the tackle shop offers a range of fishing equipment to buy and hire.  Loyalty cards are available for discounted fishing.
